In
accordance with the generally adopted criteria to qualify
for outstanding researchers and professors, a person
need satisfy the following criteria: 1. Documentary proof of person's receipt of major prizes or award for outstanding
achievement in the academic field; 2. Documentation of the person's membership in associations in the academic
field which require outstanding achievements of their members; 3. Evidence of the person's original scientific or scholarly research
contributions to the academic field; 4. Evidence of the person's authorship of scholarly books or articles (in
journals with international circulation) in the academic field; 5. Availability of the person's Diploma of Grand PhD and Certificate of
Full Professor.
Valery Danilchuk took office as Rector of Volgograd State Pedagogical University in 1987. Prior to his appointment, he served as Vice Rector for Research and Chair of Methods of Teaching Mathematics and Physics. He is a graduate of Volgograd State Pedagogical Institute (1963), holds an Ed. D. from Moscow Lenin State Pedagogical University (1973) and Doctor of Pedagogy (Russian post-doctoral degree) from Hertsen Russian State Pedagogical University, St. Petersburg (1997). As Rector, he has invested in the physical renovation of the campus on an unprecedented scale, launched an expansion in the humanities and sciences, led the effort to increase student enrollment and equip the University with modern technologies. During his administration VSPU has become one of the top ten most innovative and highly respected teacher training iuniversities in Russia. Re-elected for his third term in 2002, Danilchuk has pledged to continue the agenda already in place and to put special emphasis on student learning and research excellence - both by upholding the traditional VSPU strengths and by promoting research in new fields that will contribute to the economic growth of Volgograd, the region, and the country. Danilchuk currently is a Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Deputy Chair of the Council for Pedagogical Education at the Russian Ministry of Education, Member of the International Academy of Information Processes and Technologies and the International Academy of Teacher Training Education. He also chairs the Association of Teacher Training Institutions of the Volga Region. Danilchuk's research interests include elementary processes in low-temperature plazma, didactics of physics, humanization of physical education, problems of theory and practice of personality oriented education, and professional orientation of specialized subjects in teacher training. He authored over 120 publications, including monographs and textbooks.

Born in Barra do Pirai, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1949, Dr. Francisco Di Biase received his Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Resident in Dr. Paulo Niemeyer’s Neurosurgery and Neurology Service in Santa Casa da Misericordia Hospital, and in Neurosurgery Hospital Municipal Souza Aguiar in Rio de Janeiro. He Developed Neurology and Neurosurgery Service in Santa Casa Hospital in Barra do Pirai, Rio de Janeiro that he heads until now. Medical staff of the National Institute of Social Previdence. Specialization on Electroencephalography in Drs Paulo Niemeyer-Helio Bello Service in Rio de Janeiro. He created the Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology Service in Santa Casa Hospital, and the Electroencephalography and Brain Mapping Service of Di Biase Clinic. Actualization in Universitary Teaching from the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Decanate of Research and Post-Graduation of UFRRJ. He created the Post-Graduation and University Extension Department of FERP and published the university magazine ALEPH. He teachs in this department, his famous holistic courses in Science and Consciousness. Professor of UNIPAZ- International Holistic University in Brasilia, Brazil. Dr Francisco Di Biase received his Specialization (1800h) degree in Neurosurgery in 1987, with honors, from his master Dr Paulo Niemeyer, with the tesis Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus- Surgical Criteria, in the Center of Medicine and Biological Sciences of Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. Since 1994 he is also Medical Director of the Computed Tomography Center (CICOM) and Medical Director of the Santa Casa Hospital until 2002. Private clinic in Di Biase Clinic, with a transdisciplinar staff in Neurosciences, Psychology Oriental Medicine and Philosophy where he heads the Advanced Studies Center. He has published more than 100 articles in scientific and cultural journals and magazines, as for ex. Information Self-Organization and Consciousness-towards a holoinformational theory of consciousness, in World Futures–The Journal of General Evolution, edited by Erwin Laszlo, Illya Prigogine and Karl Pribram, in Europe, also published in the USA in The Noetic Journal, of Noetic Institute, California. Honorary Professor of the Albert Schweitzer International University and Honorary Fellow at the Ascona Scientific Council, Balint Center, in Switzerland. Dr Francisco Di Biase is also Founder Conselor of London Diplomatic Academy in England, and member of the International Comission on Distance Education, a consultant institution of UNO. In november 2002 he was awarded with the Albert Schweitzer Science and Peace Medal, during the International Conference One Year After 11th September 2001, in Madri in recognition of his work in Brazil. Dr Di Biase is also the organizer of the first brasilian Post-Graduation (Specialisation Lato Sensu) Course in Transpersonal Psychology and Holistic Sciences in the Universitary Center of FERP, in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro. He is a practitioner of Tai Chi Chuan, Meditation and Jogging. His research work is developed in the context of the new holistic scientific paradigmatic taking in consideration the interactions between Modern Science, Education, Art, Philosophy, and Spiritual Traditions. He writes not only about scientific research but also about Global Problems in the fields of Science, Ecology, Economy, Education, Peace and Politics. Professor Dietz after obtaining his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1970 at Eindhoven University of Technology, worked as practitioner in the field of automation and information systems for 10 years, before starting his scientific career. In 1987 he obtained his Doctoral Degree on the subject of modeling and specifying information systems. In January 1988 he was appointed Professor of Management Information Systems at the University of Maastricht in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, where he started the development of the DEMO theory and methodology (Dynamic Essential Modeling of Organizations). The DEMO methodology is a well-established, sound and tested methodology, taught in several universities polytechnic schools. The methodology is reported in numerous books, journal articles and international conferences. From September 1994 on he is Professor of Information Systems at Delft University of Technology. Delft University of Technology is the oldest, largest, most complete and modern university of technology in the Netherlands. It is one of the leading universities of Europe. Professor Dietz has been involved in developing and teaching numerous courses inside as well as outside the university, he has designed and implemented a variety of information systems, and he has published a large amount of scientific and professional papers as well as several books and book chapters. He is co-founder of the DEMO Knowledge Center, the institutional meeting point for academicians and practitioners who are involved in DEMO. He has also been member and chairman of the board of the VRI (the Dutch Association of Registered Professional Informaticians). During that time he developed the L_PASO-framework for describing professional functions in informatics as well as for the professional development and the certification of informaticians. Professor Dietz has been member of the board of EXIN (the Dutch Institute for Examinations in Informatics) and of PAO-I (the Dutch Foundation for Post Academic Education in Informatics). He is also secretary of the board of the Silicon Polder Fund, a foundation for providing seed capital to young entrepreneurs in the area of ICT-applications, and secretary of the KUBBIK-jury, a Dutch-Belgian jury that awards an annual prize to an outstanding captain of industry or an outstanding academician in the field of informatics. He is the Dutch national representative in IFIP TC8 (Information Systems), and member of IFIP WG8.1 (Design and Evaluation of Information Systems). Next to that, he is the continuing member of numerous international conference program committees. In 1999, after careful investigation of his academic and scientific background, the International Informatization Academy elected him as a full member of this Academy. He has also been appointed full professor of the World Information Distributed University, and was awarded an Honorary Diploma of Grand Doctor of Philosophy (Grand Ph.D.) from the same university. His current interests are in Organizational Engineering, i.e. modeling, redesigning and re-engineering business systems, as well as in Informational Engineering, i.e. designing and engineering advanced ICT-applications to support business systems. In this area he has (co)supervised over 10 Ph.D.s. He is also permanently involved as consultant in practical projects in industry, government, banking and insurance, and health care.
