On the initiative of this team Albert Schweitzer University was founded in
Geneva in October 1999. The opening of the University crowned a series of
educational initiatives inspired by the figure of the Nobel Prize award winner.
Pacifism and humanitarianism were to be hallmarks of University, which is headed
by the President Alfonso Roldan More and Honorary President Rhena Schweitzer
Miller, daughter of Nobel Prize Winner, Albert Schweitzer.
Dr. More is the
President of the International commission on Distance Education since 1997. He
is Chairperson of International and Diplomatic Affairs of the International
Organization for World Peace, Disar-mament, Development and Human Rights,
Vice-Chairman of International Advisory Committee of the World Human Rights
Service Council and Permanent representative to United Nation of Dayemi Complex

Dr. Roldan More is chairman and Director of the London Diplomatic
Academy and member of the Royal Commonwealth Society. Professor Roldan More is
all-round educated person. He has MD. graduated in Medicine and Surgery (1981),
MS in Occupational Safety, Hygiene and health (1995), MS in Occupational Safety
(1996), MS in Prevention of Occupational Risks specialized in Ergonomics (1996),
Ph.D. in Ergonomics (1996).
He is Doctor "Honors Cause" in Clinic
Psychoanalysis (2000), in Commercial Science (1996), in Psychoanalysis (1999).
He has Degree in International Relations (1997), Prof. More is educated in
Computer Science. He has a good language knowledge: French, English, Spanish
(native language).
Dr. Roldan More belongs to many social and Professional
organizations.
He is Chancellor of International association of Educators of
the Assembly and Diplomatic Counselor for safety and Peace, Honorary Ambassador
in Spain of First children?s Embassy in the World-Medjasi. He has member-ship of
Occupational Health and environment, member of official College of Medical
Doctors, member of Brit-ish Occupational and Ergonomic Society (USA) Academician
Alfonso Roldan More together with academician Eduard Evreinov have published
Manifesto about training the highest qualification experts at the level of the
Grand doctor of Philosophy (Grand Ph.D.) for solving global, fundamental and
applied problems of the Infor-mation society.
Academician More marks the
exceptional importance of the World Information Distributed University (WIDU),
where the Grand Ph.D. are trained.
He plans to create the WIDU's departments
in United Kingdom, Spain, Switzerland. President of Albert Schweitzer University
and the international Commission on Distance Education, professor More intend to
reinforce the European Association of the Universities and Higher Schools, who
should ensure the creation of program of training of Grand Ph.D. and Ph.D. He
means to support the Association of International Higher Attestation Committees
and Commissions, the aim of which is the realization of the agreements of
countries about the equivalent of diplomas certificates. President of the London
Diplomatic Academy, Honorary Ambas-sador More makes a note of great significance
of the World Order "SCIENCE. EDUCATION. CULTURE." and intends to create the
department of the World Order under Leadership of this Academy in
Spain.
Professor Alfonso Roldan More was born in San Sebastian (Spain) on
27th June 1958. He is collector of abstract painting, with special devotion to
the archaeological painting of the author Juan Luis Goenaga.
